Oxymem Pilot System
Client:
Oxymem
Project Overview
Right Group embarked on a groundbreaking partnership with Oxymem, a company at the forefront of revolutionary wastewater treatment technology. Our collaboration aimed to bring to life a state-of-the-art pilot system that showcased Oxymem’s innovative Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor (MABR) technology, poised to revolutionise wastewater treatment processes.
Technology at the Core
Oxymem’s MABR technology represents a paradigm shift in wastewater treatment. The pilot system featured two identical MABRs, each housing three membrane modules. These modules collectively provided an expansive 6600 square meters of membrane surface area per reactor, demonstrating an exceptional capacity to process 1100 cubic meters of wastewater daily. Oxymem’s breakthrough technology significantly enhances the efficiency and sustainability of wastewater treatment, with the potential to transform the industry.
Our Comprehensive Scope
Our involvement with Oxymem encompassed a multifaceted scope, reflecting the depth of our commitment to realising this pioneering project. The key components of our scope included:
- Collaborating with the client to develop a clear project scope.
- Crafting the overall design and layout of the system, ensuring seamless integration of Oxymem’s MABR technology.
- Generating detailed design drawings and performing specific design calculations for both mechanical and electrical systems, guaranteeing the system’s precision and efficiency.
- Developing a comprehensive control philosophy to govern the operation of the pilot system.
- Leveraging advanced 3D modeling design tools, such as Navisworks and Solidworks, to create an accurate representation of the system’s structure and components.
- Preparing schematics and layout drawings to guide the construction phase.
- Fabricating bespoke tanks, pipework, and structural steel, all customised to the project’s unique requirements.
- Ensuring the assembly of components and systems offsite, streamlining the installation process.
- Supplying the Motor Control Center (MCC), instrumentation, and all associated cabling for seamless operation.
- Undertaking commissioning and rigorous testing to guarantee the system’s optimal performance.
- Managing transportation and on-site assembly to bring the pilot system to life.
- Delivering comprehensive handover documentation and as-built drawings to ensure the smooth transition of the system to Oxymem for ongoing operation and further development.
