Project Overview
Right Group played a pivotal role in the prestigious Indigo Green Phase 2 project, a critical initiative commissioned by Irish Water, aimed at delivering essential infrastructure to meet the growing demands of the M3 corridor in Clonee, County Meath. This multi-faceted undertaking involved the complete design, construction, and commissioning of a new water supply and wastewater network, serving as key enabling infrastructure for industrial developments, namely, Project Indigo and Project Green.
Our Key Contribution
Right Group, as the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Contractor, was entrusted by GMC Utilities to oversee every facet of the internal works for the pump station , from inception to execution, ensuring that all aspects of the project met the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. Our responsibilities were not limited to the project management but also the detailed design, installation, and commissioning of all Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (MEICA) equipment within the newly constructed Loughsallagh Pump Station.
Scope of Works
The heart of our involvement lay in the modernisation of the Loughsallagh Pump Station. We undertook the monumental task of replacing the existing station, a critical link in the water supply chain. Right Group supplied, installed, and commissioned the Motor Control Centre (MCC), a comprehensive range of instruments, state-of-the-art valves, and automation works, which collectively optimised the performance of the pump station. The newly envisioned pump station was meticulously crafted to serve two primary functions: firstly, to support the existing Dunboyne network, enhancing its reliability, and secondly, to facilitate the seamless integration of the newly established Indigo Green Network. This enabled the provision of water resources to esteemed clients, including Shire Pharmaceuticals, alongside existing customers along the alignment, reinforcing the region’s economic growth and bolstering its essential utilities.
Conclusion
Right Group’s comprehensive approach, combining expertise as MEICA designer and sub-contractor, ensured the smooth execution of the pumping station section of Project Indigo Green Phase 2. This project epitomized our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in engineering, leaving a lasting legacy in the infrastructure that will support the community and industrial progress for generations to come.
Our unwavering dedication to delivering outstanding results, combined with our expertise, played an integral role in achieving the ambitious goals set forth by the Indigo Green Phase 2 project. Right Group remains proud to have been a trusted partner in this project, contributing to the growth and sustainability of the Clonee region and underscoring our reputation as a leader in M&E contracting and infrastructure development.
